Pre-contract IP verification and protection

Even if you hold a trademark right in your home country, you need to apply for registration in China and the final sales market in advance to avoid being preemptively registered by others, which will lead to the risk of goods being detained by customs.

‌3.Check the IP background of the counterparty‌: Verify whether the OEM factory has a history of IP infringement, and confirm that the factory will not use your mold, design or technical solution to produce products for other competitors.

Clear IP clauses in OEM contracts
